Ratatouille - Film, Movie - Trailer

Plot: The film tells the success story of an unlikely hero; a rat named Rémy (voiced by Patton Oswalt) who finds himself in a Parisian restaurant made famous by an eccentric French chef, Auguste Gusteau. Rémy is not only a foodie, (so quite an outsider among his kinfolk), but aims to become a fine chef. This far-reaching ambition, incredibly enough, he achieves.

A Disney press release gives us the following plot outline:

“After taking audiences on incredible journeys to the worlds of cars, monsters, superheroes, fish and toys, only the amazing storytellers at Pixar Animation Studios ("Cars," "Finding Nemo," "The Incredibles") could create an entirely new and original world where the unthinkable combination of 5-star restaurants and rats come together for the ultimate fish-out-of-water tale.

In the new animated-adventure, RATATOUILLE, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely—and certainly unwanted—visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy's passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.

Remy finds himself torn between his calling and passion in life or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef. Directed by Academy Award-winning Brad Bird ("The Incredibles") and co-directed by Academy Award-winning Jan Pinkava ("Geri's Game"), RATATOUILLE is slated for release on June 29, 2007.

”In an interview, John Lasseter described the movie: "It is about a rat that wants to be a fine chef in a top French restaurant in Paris. It is a wonderful story about following your passions when all the world is against you. A rat to a kitchen is death; a kitchen to a rat is death."

Happily N'Ever After - Animation, Movie - Trailer

Story: As the story begins, we are introduced to the idea that the Wizard controls all of the fairy tales and maintain the balance of good and evil in Fairy Tale Land. With the help of his assistants, the Wizard is checking to make sure that all the fairy tales under his care are "on track" to have their traditional happy endings. As we meet him, however, the Wizard is leaving for Scotland for a long-overdue vacation. He leaves the kingdom in the hands of his two assistants, the uptight Munk and the decidedly goofy Mambo.

Ella (better known as Cinderella) starts out a damsel in distress, dreaming of the Prince who will sweep her off her feet. Her best friend at the palace is Rick, the palace dishwasher. Rick takes it upon himself to deliver the invitations to the royal ball to Ella. Ella visits Rick in the palace kitchen to borrow items she needs to complete her chores and to share her hopes of dancing with "him" (the Prince) tonight. Ella sees Rick only as a friend, but Rick secretly loves Ella, although he is too cool and proud to admit it. Rick can't really understand what Ella likes about the Prince. Rick's Three Amigos, the comic chefs in the palace kitchen, believe that Rick has a bad case of "Prince envy".

The Prince does everything by the book. He wants it all to be perfect: perfect hair, perfect shirt, perfect everything (he even put on perfect underwear). He plans to meet his Damsel at the ball.

However, things don't go as planned at the ball. Thanks to the assistants, Ella's evil stepmother, Frieda, gains access to the Wizard's lair during the Prince's ball. While the boss is away, the wicked stepmother does play. Frieda manages to chase off Munk and Mambo and tip the scales of good and evil, causing a series of fairy tales to go wrong and have comically unhappy endings. As for Ella, Frieda can't stand her hope and goodness. Frieda's goal is to put the "cinder" back in Cinderella. That night, she calls an army of trolls, witches, big bad wolves, and giants to her castle. Ella finds out and escapes to the woods, where she meets Munk and Mambo. Together, they flee to the Seven Dwarfs' home. Witches and trolls, led by Ice Queen, attack them. Rick flies up on a broom, having stolen it from Frieda. The dwarfs hold off the trolls, while Rick, Mambo, Munk, and Ella escape. The Ice Queen is shot down and killed during an attempt to capture them. Frieda discovers the failure and goes after Ella herself. She succeeds in capturing her and Rick, Munk, and Mambo follow her. Ella, meanwhile, is being tortured by Frieda in the palace throne room. Rick, Munk, and Mambo slip into Frieda's castle and attack Frieda. During the fight, Frieda generates a pit of flame in the floor. Mumbo knocks her in, and everything returns to normal. But Frieda had one final trick to play. While plummeting through the magma, she uses her staff to fly back up again. After a short battle, Frieda creates a portal by accident. Ella knocks Frieda back, so that part of her is in the portal, she then finishes her off by punching her and knocking Frieda into the river of time. Later, Frieda is shown trapped in the Ice Age. She is surrounded by seals and dragged off, a rather comical death for the self-proclaimed "Empress of Evil."

Set against a backdrop of fractured fairy tales spinning wildly out of control, Ella and her true love Rick ultimately must choose their destinies in a world of happy endings.

Film, Movie - Bridge to Terabithia + Trailer

Plot: Jesse is the only boy in a family of five children. His mother seems to favor his sisters and his father works in Washington, DC and doesn't have much time for him. Leslie's family, the Burkes, has just moved to this area in an attempt to start a new life. Both children are loners who don't fit in with their peers at school: Jesse is intensely interested in art, and Leslie's family does not practice a religion and doesn't own a television set. The two outsiders soon become close friends. Together, they create an imaginary kingdom in the woods near their homes, accessible only by a rope swing over a creek. They name the kingdom "Terabithia" and themselves King and Queen, and spend many hours there.

Jesse, who has a crush on his teacher, Miss Edmunds, does anything to be with her. The central crisis of the novel occurs when Jesse accompanies Miss Edmunds to an art show in Washington D.C., and Leslie goes to Terabithia alone. The rope breaks as she is swinging over the rain-swollen creek, and she hits her head and then drowns. Jesse can overcome his grief only with the strength and courage that his friendship with Leslie has given him.

Cartoon, Movie - Arthur and the Minimoys + Trailer

Spot:10-year-old Arthur is living with his grandmother in a quiet country house. He has recently lost his grandfather, and doesn't see much of his parents. His grandmother entertains him by reading stories to him. One of these stories is about the fabled Minimoys, tiny fantastical beings living in harmony with nature in the very garden of his grandparents' house. According to these stories, the Minimoys are holding a wondrous and expensive treasure of rubies given by an African tribe to Arthur's grandfather. Furthermore Arthur has become enamoured with a picture of the princess of the Minimoys. Arthur's grandmother has been given two-day deadline to pay a large sum of money to a developer (played by Adam LeFevre) who has bought up her mortgage from the bank and plans to evict the two. Arthur takes it upon himself to find the rubies in order to pay off the debt. After stumbling across various clues written a few years previously by his grandfather, Arthur manages to find the key to the Minimoys' world. He discovers some Masai-esque men in his garden, who tell Arthur how to get into the Minimoys' world by way of shrinking down with the help of a telescope and the power of a full moon, and he changes his form into that of the Minimoys. When Arthur is down underground with the Minimoys, he learns of a danger to the little people's future — the plans of Maltazard, the leader of an army of mosquito-riding warriors living in nearby "Necropolis", who plan to conquer the Minimoys' by flooding their city. Thanks to, but also in spite of, Arthur, the Minimoys' colony is saved in the nick of time, and the 1000-year old (which is about the same age as Arthur in Minimoy years) princess fall in love. Arthur finds out his grandfather is not dead as suspected, but imprisoned in Necropolis. Together, they find the rubies Arthur's grandfather wrote about in his stories, and pay a part of it to the developer to save the house and land.
